ADF's Scripps Studios offers year-round dance classes for all ages and for all levels in styles including ballet, modern, jazz, and hip-hop. Week-long camps are also offered each summer.

Arts Performing Classes

School of Carolina Ballet provides rigorous, comprehensive training from beginners to pre-professional. We commit to the well-being of our students personally, technically and artistically by offering classes taught by some of the most knowledgeable professional dancers and ballet masters in the country. In addition to learning from working professionals, Carolina Ballet’s Artistic Director, Zalman Raffael, will guest teach classes for advanced students. The curriculum is based on the shared history of the teachers’ careers which span working with such companies as the NYC Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Béjart Ballet of the 20th Century and of course the 25 year history of Carolina Ballet.

Music Education Classes

We offer classes, workshops, and camps throughout the whole year in just about every arts category you can imagine: ceramics, painting/drawing, printmaking, mixed media, bookbinding, photography, graphic design, literary arts, theatre, dance, music, and more! Courses are available for beginning and experienced artists, alike. And, from one-time workshops to weekly courses, we have a variety to fit every schedule.

We do have After School and Late Day programs, but only for students enrolled in our morning Montessori school programs. It's similar for Summer Camp--the child must have been enrolled in the previous school year to be eligible for Summer Camp.

At Lighthouse, we offer a variety of in-person and virtual creative writing workshops, in all genres, on weekends, after school, and during school-closure days, including the Young Authors Collective for teens, summer camps, and homeschool enrichment

We offer private and group music lessons to all ages. We specialize in Voice/Singing, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Violin, Drums/Percussion, Woodwinds, and Brass instruments, as well as Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, Performances, and Recording!

The “Dance with Us” program exclusive to “NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet”, provides American ballet students with a rare opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform alongside a professional, international touring ballet company in the Nutcracker production.

Sweet Tea Shakespeare's Youth Acting Company is not just another acting class or after-school theater program. Our youth acting companies give your child the skills to be a successful actor and a leader.

Professional artists provide quality arts education in subjects as varied as ceramics, digital arts, dance and cooking.

Our parks, recreation facilities and the Garner Performing Arts Center offer great activities for ages 2 to 55+.
