11th Annual Death Faire - The Plant - Pittsboro, NC

November 7 brings the 11th annual Death Faire: a modern-day ritual for our community, inspired by the death positivity movement, sharing a rich time of knowledge, wisdom, celebration, and remembrance. Born from deep loss and transformed into communal resilience, Death Faire has become an extraordinary annual event where people from all walks of life come together to embrace what our society so often avoids: death. Rooted in the principles of death positivity, Death Faire is more than an event—it is part of a growing cultural shift in America that challenges old norms and nurtures a more compassionate way of being, inviting us to live more fully by speaking openly about death.
