Brew 'n' Choo - North Carolina Railway Museum

On Saturday, July 27, enjoy a relaxing train ride, craft beer and food truck fare during New Hope Valley Railway's (NHVR) Brew 'n' Choo event.
In addition to a train ride, our family-friendly event will have food and ice cream available for purchase from The Humble Pig and JAM Ice Cream, respectively. Adults ages 21+ can enjoy craft beer from Bombshell Beer Company.

Attendees can also visit the free North Carolina Railway Museum, Inc., Garden Railroad (G Scale) and gift shop located in the rail yard.
All Brew 'n' Choo events are family-friendly fundraisers that benefit projects at the railway. Our July 27 Brew 'n' Choo will benefit No. 17 Steam Locomotive restoration, which is currently out-of-service for mandated, 15-year, Federal Railroad Administration inspection.
Trains depart at 2:30, 4, 5:30 and 7 p.m. Tickets are available now at www.TriangleTrain.com. Food and drink are not included in train ticket price.
Train excursions typically run about an hour with trains departing from NHVR's rail yard in Bonsal and traveling eight miles round trip. NHVR's rail yard is located 30 minutes from Raleigh off Old U.S. 1 South on the Wake-Chatham county line.
