Chapel Hill Pride! Promenade

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 06/01/2024
Wear your colors. Wave your flag. Walk with Pride! We’re gearing up for our 3rd annual Pride Promenade! Come celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community with us. This event is the start of the month-long Chapel Hill-Carrboro Small Town Pride celebration. Join us for music, art, food, and more! We'll gather at Peace & Justice Plaza, located at 139 East Franklin Street, listen to a few speakers, and then march to 140 West Franklin Plaza for a street market, music, and sweet treats. The celebration will last until 3 pm. More than a thousand people attended the Chapel Hill Pride Promenade in 2023 and a large crowd is expected for this year’s event. Biking and walking are encouraged, as is riding Chapel Hill Transit. The closest paid parking area to the start of the march is the Wallace Deck. Come show your pride!
