Fall Film Series: Beetlejuice

After a fun summer of seeing some amazing local Durham talent perform on stage during the Summer Concert Series, Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) is keeping the party going with an extraordinary lineup of movies for their Fall Film Series!
Start the Halloween season off right on Saturday, October 3, when DPR shows the original Beetlejuice (PG). This comedy/horror film has been providing audiences with screams and laughs for nearly 40 years. Michael Keaton plays the titular demon hired to help the recently deceased Adam and Barbara Maitland (played by Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) to scare off the new residents of their house.
All movies will be shown at Durham Central Park, located at 501 Foster Street, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. DPR will be offering free popcorn and there will be an amazing selection of local food trucks during each event. So get your family and friends together, grab a chair or blanket, and enjoy a night of free movies with DPR all fall long!
