The Farm at Piper Hill Kids Fishing Derby

This family friendly event will offer up some good old fashioned fun while getting everyone outdoors to unplug and get back to nature!

This family event will begin with a light breakfast before the derby begins. Kids will then have the opportunity to catch catfish, crappie and largemouth bass on our 10 acre spring fed pond with plenty of space to fish along the shoreline or on any of our docks. Parents, bring your chairs to sit back, relax and cheer them on. Afterwards, we’ll have our awards ceremony, give out raffle prizes then provide lunch for everyone. Families are then welcome to stick around and enjoy the farm. You can go for a hike along our creek trail, visit and play with the animals, play some lawn games, go for a hayride or for an additional fee you can go kayaking, metal detecting or gem mining in our sluice.
