Originally built as M.H’s Grocerteria in the late 1950s by owner, Caitlin Ward's, late grandfather, this building has served the Boylan Heights community in downtown Raleigh for decades as a grocery store, neighborhood grill and convenience store. Caitlin and her husband, Matt, are looking forward to continuing her grandfather's legacy by restoring this one-of-a-kind property to serve as a retail and community space offering goods from local makers as well as indoor and outdoor spaces to host workshops, events, outdoor maker markets and more.
