We are a U-Pick berry farm in Durham, NC. We specialize in strawberries starting mid-April, followed by blueberries, blackberries, maypops, and muscadines. A smattering of flowers and vegetables, too. Come to pick and linger for a picnic in our garden. Hours vary by fruit availability and weather, so always call before you come.

Fruit and veggies from our farm to your table. Our season generally runs April - August. The season starts with strawberries, but is followed by blueberries, blackberries, muscadines and maypops. We have a few flowers and vegetables, too. Come to pick, but stay to enjoy the chickens, gardens and picnic spots.
WHO WE ARE.
At Heeks Farm, we grow fruits and vegetables using sustainable farming practices. To preserve our topsoil, we grow cover crops on fields not in production, we rotate crops to reduce disease and insect pressure, and we use compost and mulches in our raised beds to create a healthy, living soil.
