Hidden Histories: North Carolina and World War I Teaching Scholars
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/11/2017
This summer’s workshop, for middle and high school teachers, is an intensive exploration of WWI that integrates the museum’s new exhibition North Carolina and World War I and primary sources. The workshop is free, but application to the program is required. For information, e-mail Paul Bonnici at bonnici@unc.edu.
This workshop is a collaboration between the NC Museum of History, Carolina K–12, and the College of Education at North Carolina State University. The Hidden Histories series of workshops is possible because of a generous grant from the William R. Kenan Jr. Charitable Trust and support from the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Program and Waynesburg University, which coordinates the TPS Eastern Region.
Major supporters of the exhibit North Carolina and World War I are the NC Museum of History Foundation and the NC Museum of History Associates.
