Jack Gates-Wildflower Presentation and Book Signing at Medoc Mountain State Park

Join us for a presentation and book signing by author Jack Gates, who recently published Spring Wildflowers of Eastern Woodlands, Photos, Facts, and Folklore. Jack's book is a culmination of 36 years of research and discusses how wildflowers were used medicinally by Indigenous people and early settlers, in folklore, and as food. The presentation is free, and books will be available for purchase. The presentation is a great way to learn about the history of wildflowers and celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
