The UNCG Public Health Education Department will share a reflective and educational program which honors Juneteenth by exploring its historical roots and continued relevance through storytelling, discussion, and a public health lens. Participants will examine how freedom, access, and health outcomes intersect, gaining deeper insight into the lasting impact of emancipation on Black communities today. The program encourages dialogue, reflection, and community connection in a supportive environment.
