Memorial Mile - Town of Rolesville

The Town of Rolesville wants to recognize the sacrifice that members of our community and their families have made by serving in the United States Armed Forces. To honor that service, we have created a Memorial Day remembrance event called the Memorial Mile. This event will celebrate and remember those brave men and women who lost their lives serving our country. Signs will be made to display along the greenway on Trail A in Main Street Park on Memorial Day. Join us to celebrate and remember those brave men and women who lost their lives serving our country. Memorial Signs of those who have lost their lives will be displayed along the greenway on Trail A in Main Street Park on Memorial Day. Join us for a flag ceremony and a walk of remembrance.

The ceremony will be located at the back of Main Street Park near the Scarboro Street entrance.

Shirts will be available for this year's Memorial Mile! Each cotton t-shirt will have the event logo on the front with the names of the service members being recognized listed on the back. There is no cost to request a sign for a loved one who served in the United States Armed Forces! Simply fill out the Memorial Mile Sign Form prior to April 32, 2024.
