On June 15, 2019 from 1-5pm NC State and University Theatre will pull back the curtain for a never before seen glimpse of live theatre. TheatreFESTival is a casual open house experience allowing the audience backstage to see the magic behind live performance.Choose from a long list of ongoing experiences creating your custom event. Drop in for an interview with the actors or head backstage for a guided tour of the sets. Hear from TheatreFEST founder John McIlwee on life as an artist or try your hand at painting in our scene shop.Local theatre companies will be onsite with information on their upcoming seasons and various vendors will be available with information and giveaways!Check out all the experiences below and download Guidebook to tailor your day.With live music, prizes, tours and much more, University Theatre is putting the FESTival into TheatreFEST!
