Winter Star Party

Come join us for a Winter Star Party at our very special private event location, Three Bears in Creedmoor (711 Beaver Dam Rd Creedmoor 27522)! This site is perfect for star gazing as it is surrounded by WRC land, which ensures little light pollution from the surrounding Triangle. Before star gazing begins, we will have several activities for the whole family as well as the delicious snack options from Cocoa Forte! Sunset is at 5pm so star viewings from the Raleigh Astronomy Club will begin around 6pm. Come for all or part of the event and remember to bring a chair or blanket to sit on and we can’t wait to see you there! Because this is a private preserve, we ask that you leave furry friends at home. We suggest that you bring a picnic blanket or chair to stargaze in, extra layers, a red flashlight, and a water bottle. Please remember to pack anything that you bring in, back out with you and we can’t wait to see you amongst the stars! This is a free event, but preregistration is required.
